Tinčkova bajta, baza cerkljanskega alternativnega mladinskega centra, bo kmalu podrta. Dvanajst let je bila ta hiša zbirališče mnogih prostovoljcev_k, mladih aktivistov_k in občanov_k majhnega slovenskega mesta. “Ni prostora za nas” je filmska pripoved o tem kaj vse ta prostor pomeni vpletenim.
“Še živo se spomnim mojega prvega obiska v C.M.A.K.-u. Bil je nenavadno ne tako mrzel januarski večer leta 2018. Le nekaj dni prej sem izvedela, da je C.M.A.K., alternativni mladinski center v majhnem kraju na zahodu Slovenije, v nevarnosti, da bo ukinjen in porušen. Spakirala sem svojo kamero, mikrofon in stojalo ter se skupaj s Saro, ki je tisti čas živela in delala z mano v Krškem, odpeljali v Cerkno. Tekom parih mesecev sva bila v Cerknem vsak drug vikend, kjer sva snemali koncerte in intervjuje ter spoznavala to kar je te mlade ljudi vodilo k združevanju in ustvarjanju čudovitih stvari. Njihovo prizadevanje za ohranitev C.M.A.K.-a, ne glede na nasprotovanje, s katerim so se soočali, je bilo za naju navdihujoče. V C.M.A.K. naju je najprej vodila vroča zgodba o njegovem rušenju. Toda za tisto, kar me je tako pogosto peljalo nazaj, se je izkazalo, da je mnogo večje kot to – toplina ljudi in njihov odpor z namenom ohranitve C.M.A.K.-a. (Andrea Udrea, sorežisreka)

“Tinčk’s house”, Cerkno’s alternative youth center headquarters, is due to be demolished. For 12 years, this house has been the meeting point for many volunteers, young activists and citizens of a small Slovenian town. “No place for us” is a cinematic account of what this place means for everyone involved.
“I vividly remember the first time I went to CMAK. It was an unexpectedly not-so-cold January evening in 2018. I had found out, just a few days before, that CMAK, an alternative youth center in a small town in western Slovenia, was in danger of being shut down and demolished. I packed my camera, microphone and tripod and together with Sara, who was living and working with me at the time in Krško, we got on the first bus to Cerkno. For the next few months, we were in Cerkno every other weekend, shooting concerts, recording interviews and learning about what drove these young people to get together and bring amazing cultural projects to life. Their ambition to keep CMAK alive, despite the opposition they are facing, was inspiring to us. What first drove us to CMAK was the hot topic of it being shut down. However, what kept us going back there so often turned out to be something bigger than this – the warmth of the people and their resistance to keep CMAK alive.” (Andreea Udrea, co-director)
