Odprta bo do 15. aprila 2020.
Soorganizacija: MC C.M.A.K. Cerkno (Festival DEUJE BABE) ob podpori Občine Cerkno, Muzej sodobne umetnosti Metelkova (Mrežni muzej) in Društvo za promocijo žensk v kulturi – Mesto žensk.

Due to the spreading of the new infectious disease and the consequent closure of all museums, the web archive exhibition Looking Back to Look Forward is going to be reopened for viewing between March 20th and April 15th 2020 in the Web Museum of the Museum of Contemporary Art Metelkova.
The curatorial duo osborn&møller has prepared the exhibition in October 2019 for the 25th International Festival of Contemporary Arts – City of Women.
➡ The exhibition is going to be online from March 20th (from 12.00 on) at: http://mrezni-muzej.mg-lj.si/exhibition/
It can be viewed until April 15th 2020.
The web exhibition Looking Back to Look Forward highlights works and artists from the City of Women archive that focus on collective actions, precarious labour, structural exploitation, solidarity and poetic protest. The works chosen specifically speak to the unique history of the former Yugoslavia region, with a focus on socially engaged art.
osborn&møller is Emma Møller (DK) and Mary Osborn (GB), an independent curatorial duo unattached to any one organisation, city or country who come together to create temporary spaces for performance encounters. They are interested in performance as a practice that can disrupt structures of oppression, re-think hierarchies, illuminate the slippery borders between bodies and offer a space for critical empathy and imagining.
Produced by: City of Women in the frame of the project BePart, co-financed by Creative Europe programme; co-produced by: MG+MSUM Web Museum (Ida Hiršenfelder), City of Women archive (Eva Matjašič), supported by: i-Portunus (Creative Europe); City of Ljubljana; The Public Fund for Cultural Activities.
